Leggett & Platt do Brasil will exhibit two new products at FIMMA Brasil 2019

Operating for 20 years in Brazil and 135 years in the US, Leggett & Platt do Brasil Ltda will take part in the International Fair of Machines, Raw Materials and Accessories for the Furniture Industry (FIMMA Brasil) expecting the event to confirm the confidence woodworking businessmen have in the coming years, especially 2019, enabling medium and long-term partnerships.

In Brazil, the brand, which manufactures coils for the mattress industry and mechanisms, connectors, accessories and springs for the furniture industry, is headquartered in Minas Gerais and has a branch in São Paulo.

Gustavo Goulart Lemos, president in Brazil and Latin America, points out that their objective in exhibiting at FIMMA Brasil 2019 is to add value to the domestic manufacturers' business, encouraging them to develop new projects and improve their products by using the new features and solutions provided by Leggett & Platt in terms of products and services.

Speaking of news, the company will exhibit two unique L&P innovative technologies that represent an evolution for the furniture market. The "Outdoor" line: reclining mechanisms for outdoor areas, with anti-corrosion e-coating; the "Chelan" line: a reclining mechanism not visible to the user, which makes the furniture more modern and improves its appearance by concealing its internal structure.

In addition to these new features, new applications for mechanisms already available in the market will be shown, with projects that will make the clients' furniture even more unique. "The idea is to help manufacturers create unique products using the various mechanisms offered by Leggett's current range of products," says Lemos.

Visitors will also be able to see a line of mechanisms that provides different solutions for various types of applications; L&P has a wide range of controls and accessories that ensure a diversity of models (USB, wireless cell phone charger attached to a sofa, controls with LED).
