FIMMA Brasil 2019 brought together the production chain of the forestry industry

Playing an important link in the timber production chain, the forestry industry was present at the 14th International Fair of Machines, Raw Materials and Accessories for the Furniture Industry (FIMMA Brasil), bringing together 25 exhibitors.

In an exclusive area of 1,500 m², distributed between pavilions B and E, the forestry segment featured important brands that manufacture greenhouses, nurseries, forest transport, forest harvesting, tools for timber, boilers for drying wood, equipment for drying of wood, biomass, biomass equipment, production of wood chips for manufacturing boards and wood products.

In addition to Brazilian exhibitors, three international brands, from China, the United States and Chile, exhibited at the forestry area, a key segment as a supplier of wood for furniture, and for the manufacture of solid and MDF furniture. These suppliers are also important for the construction industry, mainly for building wooden houses, biomass for sustainable energy supply, and the production of paper and cellulose.

The new features exhibited by the forestry industry at FIMMA Brasil 2019 included a special type of eucalyptus for furniture manufacture, in addition to the launching of a special head for cutting timber.
