FIMMA Brasil 2019: 25% of the confirmed exhibitors will take part in the fair for the first time

The variety of machines, panels, finishes, accessories, software, new features provided by the exclusive spaces for the forestry and stone industries and the economic recovery are already having positive repercussions on the Fair of Machines, Raw Materials and Accessories for the Furniture Industry (FIMMA Brasil) 2019. The proof of this is that 25% of the confirmed exhibitors will participate for the first time in the fair, from March 26 to 29.

Therefore, the fifth largest fair in the world of the woodworking industry accomplishes its goal of promoting a great show, organized by the sector focusing the sector itself. In 2019, FIMMA Brazil's board of directors, led by entrepreneur Henrique Tecchio, will strengthen its mission to enhance differentiation and innovation.

New features
The FIMMA Mobstone – Stone Furniture project aims to promote greater integration between Brazilian furniture, design and stone. The result of this unprecedented initiative will be presented during the fair through the development of furniture using ornamental stones as its main or secondary raw material.

The project will have the participation of Amma Design, Aziforma, Tremarin and Uultis – Grupo Herval in addition to marble producers De Carli, CJ Mármores, Micfel and Cammino Pedras. The project was conceived by FIMMA Brasil 2019 and the Furniture Industry Association of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (Movergs), with the support of Sindmóveis/Raiz Project, the Senai Institute of Wood and Furniture Technology and the Rochas Magazine. sponsored by Pro Marmo.

With great business potential, the forestry industry will have an exclusive area, totaling 1500 m² at the 14th FIMMA Brasil. The Buyer’s Project completes 10 editions, that is, two decades of services bringing together Brazilian businessmen and foreign buyers in business meetings, in addition to technical visits. It is an initiative carried out within the framework of the Orchestra Brasil Project to promote exports – organized by Sindmóveis Bento Gonçalves with the support of Apex-Brasil.
FIMMA Joiner seeks to encourage the development of small companies in the segment, facilitating their access to information. The show management believes that bringing professionals closer to sources of knowledge is key to improve business.

FIMMA Workshop provides a series of lectures that help show the paths to the competitive management of products, processes and innovation. The challenge of this project is to expand knowledge, creating connections and complementing the exchange of information on scenarios, challenges, design, trends and the market that involve the furniture industry.
